I don't know about you but I'm always dismayed with how quickly memories fade for me of beloved pets. Extremely fast. Having replacements is paramount.

Great avatar pic, Hal. :D
I used to have a collie, or a miniature collie rather, when I was maybe 1 year old. No memory of the dog, just a photo. I’ll have to find it.

Hi Dualstow,

Would be interested to see the photo if you can find it.

Here is a photo of an original of the last two collies we had.
The one on the left was incredibly loyal - stayed next to my mother when she was ill for a week. We had to take food to the dog as it would not leave her side.

The other dog loved children. Would put her head over a Childs shoulder while they were hugging her.

Did not know whether to put this here or in the Netflix Topic.

Just finished watching Monster-In-Law.

Incredibly funny! One of the few movies that caused me to laugh out loud while I was watching it alone. When I was a kid watching the (even old then) Three Stooges provoked the same response in me.

Decided put in here because there are several scenes in the movie with A LOT of dogs in them. Any movie that has a dog or dogs playing prominent roles in it gets extra points!

Theses dogs did a GREAT job!

Love it! Dogs are so loyal!

Found the photo on an old drive.
What a cutie.

I forgot what it was called. A speckled Spaniel? Quite the cutie, though!

This is the best thing I've seen all day.

Dammit, now I need to adopt a husky pup.

I have never owned a pug, and only known a few through the years. I have no idea what they are like to own as a pet, but they absolutely crack me up. How can you not grin when you look at those guys?

Also microchipped and having her nostrils enlarged to facilitate breathing.
Bless you for the breathing thing. Apparently that makes a pug's life so much better just in general. O0

What's that thing that manipulates aerodynamic force on those surf things, an air foil? It seems to me that a pug-unplugging is a Darwinian foil.

How do they do that? Shave the turbinates?
I’m not sure if dogs even have turbinates.
