I’m not a Trumper, but I like how he describe’s Paul’s stance as “a necessary response to neoconservat[ive] idealism of the early 2000’s” and goes on to say it doesn’t work and hasn’t worked.

All political philosophies are over-simplifications of complex reality, and try to avoid the fact that human nature isn't good. ergo communism is a non-starter, and libertarians hesitate to accept that sometimes you have to bomb savages.

I'm a thumbs down on this tweet. The problem w/ interventionist policy is you have to trust the interventionist. Who will watch the watchmen? It seems like there are lies behind most interventions and the military industrial complex is biased towards interventions. Certainly congress should be voting before we intervene.
