I think it happened rather quickly but now that she’s been arrested, it’s really taking off.
Edit: A comment suggested that the arrest was Jan 14th, and nothing came of it. I came back here to edit, but could not gain access to the forum.

I never understood the hate for Skyler. When the show was still putting out new episodes, Vince Gilligan even tried to shield actress Anna Gunn(sp?) from social media. I thought she was great, but maybe they did write a lot of angry lines for her. Kind of like the Shirley character in Slow Horses. Great actress, unlikeable character.

I never understood the hate for Skyler. When the show was still putting out new episodes, Vince Gilligan even tried to shield actress Anna Gunn(sp?) from social media. I thought she was great, but maybe they did write a lot of angry lines for her. Kind of like the Shirley character in Slow Horses. Great actress, unlikeable character.

Memes aside, I agree. Her character and her acting were both phenomenal.

I think negativity towards Skyler is something the audience may feel early in the show is because the story is essentially told from Walter's narrative point of view. We see everything he's going through to provide for his family before taking his dirt nap. Of course, it's only later that Walter's desire to give to his family turns into dark ambition.
