Great post and thanks for the clarification Clive. I forgot that the 7% stop loss remains bellow the original purchase point so long the position holds. You are right in that there are times when a slide in price can take out several positions in a row. Did you try not to initiate a new monthly position if say it's within a short distance price wise to the preceding month's position? This way the probability of a large price slide that takes several positions can be mitigated.
I will test this system in a few weeks when I have a bit of time bandwidth, in which time we can compare results.
