With a touchstone ? For a 1g bar, it will be enough as it cannot be filled with, say, tungsten.

I'd rather use 1/10 ounce coins, considering 3 grams = 1/10 of an ounce and the coins are more universally understood and accepted.
However, the spread on 1/10 ounce coins is huge (offhand it's around 15%)... if the spread on these bars was closer to spot, then it might be interesting. Otherwise, just get a credit card shaped plastic sleeve that can hold 1/10 ounce gold coins 5 across and 3 down (15 total for nearly 50 grams).
