Re: Gold blog
How do you know that blog is one of the best?
How long have you been reading it?
Can you tell us a little about where he is coming from with his views?

Re: Gold blog
This blog is run by an employee of the Perth Mint. He is very rational when discussing the gold market and, as a producer of bullion, knows way more about the gold supply side story than just about anyone else I've read:

I wouldn't trade gold based on speculation, but this blog often has interesting counterpoints to rampant gold buggery I see all over the place.

Re: Gold blog
Wow, he has one of the best things I have ever seen on the Internet on his blog:

That is just awesome!

That is just awesome!

Re: Gold blog
MT- saying it is the "best" is all relative to one's frame of reference. Personally I do not read any other gold related blogs other then "expected returns" however Harvey's blog gets into the daily drivers behind price movements. Let me know what you think after reading it for awhile?
Re: Gold blog
I would ignore anyone trying to say they know the drivers behind any market. The decisions in the market, barring some obvious major world event, are just a guess. But even if he were right, it does you no good because it still can't predict the future. This stuff will just stress you out.hrux wrote: MT- saying it is the "best" is all relative to one's frame of reference.
