Any further details as to the cause? Pilot error?

Saw the video yesterday or the day before. Terrible. Don't know if I'd ever prior seen an actual video of two airplanes colliding.
Above provided by: Vinny, who always says: "I only regret that I have but one lap to give to my cats." AND "I'm a more-is-more person."

Definitely pilot error on the part of the smaller fighter. His closure rate was WAY too fast and he completely misjudged the join up angle. Really some poor piloting. The only excuse for something like that is if he had some physiological thing happened that incapacitated him. (after writing this I watched the second video...and what I explained was it)
