That Russian Spammer

Post by dualstow »

Thanks to all who reported Robertabica spammer (spambot?) mentioned by Vinny
here viewtopic.php?p=254765#p254765
He came back and sent me a PM as well, so I had a chance to ban him.

According the mod logs, I’ve banned him 4 times O0 including an IP ban. Didn’t seem to take at first. I think it’s quiet on the western front now.

It did look like Russian to me. But I'm terrible at languages. You knew it was Russian for certain?

Yeah, man, I saw the part about 1500 rubles and didn’t read any further.
(I can’t read Russian for meaning, but I can read for sound. I lived in Moscow for a short spell).

Was that before or after Edward Snowden started living there?
