Karatbars

Post by MachineGhost »

Karatbars is an interesting new Germany company providing 1 gram bars of gold encased in a protective card that looks like the size of a credit card.  Provides home delivery via FedEx, free vault storage in Germany or paid storage in Switzerland or Singapore.  Check out the country and collectors cards.  The premium is competitive with other 1 gram sources.  There is even an affiliate option but the company is just too young to stake reputations on it without some serious due diligence.

This sounds interesting but I find the website lacking in information.

What are the other 1 gram sources?  I've never looked into them.  I figured I would just hang on to silver coins for small transactions.

The look pretty good, but they are 1 oz.  I was interested in 1 gram bars.  I'm not sure if I would buy a 1 gram bar, just curious; I haven't seen them before.  It appears there is a pamp 10 gram bar.

Looks like $25, which is more like 33%.  Or 50% I guess.  I'm not sure how they calculate the percentage.  Pretty crazy.  I wonder why that is.  They have too many in stock already?

I calculate a 27% premium on these Karatbars!  No Thanks.
