It's true that the main point of the article was that you should think before selling an investment, but I'm still amazed at the even-handed discussion of a precious metals fund.

It's probably a reasonable article for people who are speculative investors. But it doesn't address the real problems at hand. No mention of the highly speculative nature of mining stocks or of the crippling 1.2% ER.
