Very nice!  How comes theres essentially no people?  Queens is a crowded place, right?

we went in the rain ...  colors pop and the light is better .

we also have a special pass to get in to the ny botanical gardens at 6am before they open to the public.    it is not publicized but for an extra 25 bucks on our yearly membership we get special access .

we are still about a week or so away from peak .

we were upstate last weekend and they were peaking .  got some great shots .

i went and fell on some broken concrete and gravel  and really gashed my elbow bad last week  .

i should have gone to the hospital but didn't . i have it butterflied together for a week now an it still has some stuff oozing out .  but at this point i will just keep it bandaged .

at least i don't get hurt processing the photo's in the computer .  ha ha ha

I hope you have been to a doctor. That sounds like it could be a bad infection!
