Reading group for "A Spontaneous Order"

Post by Libertarian666 »

This is the best book I've ever seen on the logical argument for anarcho-capitalism. It is densely reasoned but still readable.

I'm proposing a reading group for this book. The plan is to read and discuss one chapter a week (or faster if everyone gets through it faster than that).

Since it is available for Kindle, I assume we won't have to wait too long for people to get it in hand, so I propose starting this weekend (since many people on this board still have day jobs).

Anyone who is interested, please reply to this thread.

Thanks!

I'm in! Sounds awesome.
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

No prior experience or knowledge is needed, as the book starts right at the beginning, the epistemology of the social sciences (including economics) vs. that of the natural sciences.

It may be a while before I ever get to read the book as I don't like to pay full price for books, especially e-versions, rather .99 and under.  But I will certainly follow the comments intently.
