Trump Rallies get Rough

Post by moda0306 »

When told that his supporters punched and kicked a heckler in the crowd, Trump responded "Maybe he should have been roughed up."

Well at least we know if he doesn't win the Republican nod he can always run as a neo-Fascist. Such a positive guy, at least. :/

What should be done with someone who disrupts a voluntarily attended meeting and won't shut up when asked to politely, then impolitely, and won't leave?

Well if we are going with the private property model, I'd imagine it's the property owner's prerogative. They may have security or call the police.

Do you think a violent mob is appropriate?  We have never had a need for these before.

Are you telling me that you're a leftist who's unfamiliar with the history of the labor movement? ;D
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

Oh I'm familiar with it. Especially the super nasty wings of it that were near Bolsheviks.

If Bernie was telling folks like that to "get him the hell out of here," and later suggesting an opponent deserved getting beat up, I wouldn't have a very high opinion of him.

How do you know that is accurate?  Were you there to see what the protesters were doing?  That is one person's take.  Trump thought this guy should be "roughed up" for no other reason than him saying things Trump didn't like, loudly. There are no reports I've seen of this guy being violent.  Trump didn't even claim he was violent.  Just "disgusting," if memory serves.

Whether this guy was permanently injured isn't the point.  He was aggressed against.  Don't you believe in the non-aggression principle?  Or does that not apply when your second favorite candidate is trying to speak at a rally open to the public?

This is the same guy who believes waterboarding should still be in use, and even if it isn't working, they still deserve it.

His words... not mine.

So Trump obviously has no qualms about the chargeless detention going on now, nor torture, nor the fact that many of these people being held could be innocent of any supposed crime that they're not being charged with.  I wonder what his comments on the recently released "torture report" would be.  Probably similar to his constant drivel.

This guy obviously only has respect for executive restraint and the rule of law when it suits his limited interests, which is to say not at all, as that is the antithesis of the rule of law.

The guy is a bully.

Are you really unaware that this describes the present white house occupant? Or that doesn't bother you because you agree with some/all of his views?

It doesn't seem likely Trump will use the IRS to go after liberals or have the intelligence information altered to match his wishes.

Benko he is only a bully with his political opponents. He's a progressive pansy in the real world.  A pushover for our enemies, Islamic terrorists, and for every two bit dictator out there.
